| FHTA (Florida Horse Trials Association) There's a new circuit in town! And a new way to enjoy the great sport of eventing! FHTA is a new circuit of events and shows designed especially with the competitor in mind. You earn qualifying scores in dressage, show jumping and cross-country in order to achieve recognition for your and your horse in the form of FHTA Titles. Titles will be awarded at Intro, Beginner Novice, Novice, Training and Preliminary levels in Dressage, Stadium and Cross-Country. Qualifying scores can be achieved in Dressage by scoring 60% (40 penalty points) or better; and in Stadium and Cross-Country by riding a Clear Round (no jump penalties and within the time allowed). 2 Qualifying Scores earns you a Leg, 4 Legs earns you a FHTA Title. Membership in FHTA is simple and inexpensive! Annual dues are $10 per rider; $5 per horse. (Titles will be earned for each horse/rider combination - you can put Titles on all your horses!).
